Bavaria 46

The Bavaria 46 is designed by the J &J design team and incorporates many of the features of here Bavaria sisters. The design with many hatches is a must for warm climates. The solid base wood work throughout the interior is brightly finished, and the open layout gives the feeling of being on a much large boat. The two panoramic windows on the deck and the six fixed hull windows also add to the light and brightness of the interior.

The saloon layout is a departure from what has become the standard on most cruising yachts which have the dinette and settee are fitting the forward part of the main cabin and the galley located aft to one side. On the Bavaria 46 cruiser a large U-shaped dinette is starboard with a separate, upholstered centreline double bench, and the galley which also has a U-shaped layout is directly opposite on port side.

The navigation station is opposed and features a conHolidayed ergonomic instrument panel, large chart table and ample storage for charts, instruments and books.

Twin steering pedestals open to a walk-through transom with swim platform equipped with a telescopic stainless boarding ladder and hot and cold shower. In the cockpit underway, all sheets and led aft to the cockpit with winches in easy reach.
